Me: Ha! Look how cool I am: I’m now Facebook friends with John Szabo, City Librarian of Los Angeles.
Scout: Does that mean we can keep books out longer?
Tonight we played a game of Life where I consciously made the exact opposite decisions of those I would make in my real life. I came in second, with $3.5 million. I don’t know what lesson to take from that.
Last night, Scout invented a holiday called Family Day to take place later in May.
To celebrate, we each draw a name of a family member, make or buy them a present, then we all make a decoration for the house, and then go get ice cream.
“Because I like getting gifts, Rocketboy likes ice-cream, mom likes decorations for the house and you… um. Well. You like being with us, right? That’s good for you?”
