1. I transferred money from a checking account to a brokerage account yesterday.
\n2. The money is showing up in both accounts online right now.
\n3. A stock in my brokerage account has split during the night.
\n4. The brokerage is showing the correct number of doubled shares, but is still showing the old share price from yesterday, which means it is showing double the value on my balance.<\/p>\n
So, for the next few minutes, before the systems getted synchronized, I’m going to pretend I became slightly richer overnight.<\/p>\n
