Well, if it’s at all possible, I’m never eating at a fast food restaurant again.
But what about Moe’s, Chipotle, and other sort-of fast food restaurants like that? Where do they get their beef and chicken, and how are their workers paid?
Maybe there’s a restaurant rating somewhere on the web.
Me too! I felt the same way after reading that book. I have occassionally failed and found myself wrist-deep in McDonalds fries. Did I mention that the McDonalds down the block from my office has a doorman? And the one near our apartment delivers.
Anyway, it’s a hugely affecting book. If I had been entertaining any thoughts of returning to meat eating, that would have pretty much put them to bed.
Oh God, Damon is on the phone. He drove a nail through his finger. Ack.
Is he working at a beef processing plant?

Chipotle is owned by McDonalds. I forget who owns Moes, but I think it’s the Smoothie King people. I have no idea who owns Willy’s.
McDonald’s also owns Donato’s.
Smoothie King also owns Mama Fu’s and Jersey Subs.
I don’t want to know these thing, it’s just that retail affects my life unnaturally.
