All weekend I was feeling more tired than I should. The kind of whole body, achy, exhausted tired, in spite of the fact that my very excellent son let us sleep in until 8 on Sunday.
Today, scratchy throat, achy bones, tiredness, wooziness and a bit of sniffling. Under ordinary circumstances, I would have trudged on in to work, but dammit, Lyle is tomorrow, and I shall be well.
I slept most of the morning, and now I’m attempting to medicate myself with chicken n’ rice soup.
Did you take some Alka Seltzer Cold Plus? The fizzy kind, not the gelcap kind. You need that.
I have now, for the first time ever, taken an Alka-Seltzer product, namely Cold Plus: Fizzy Kind. You know, it tastes kinda good…

It does taste kinda good, now that they’ve gotten rid of that fresh orange flavor that tastes like a flat Nehi.
