Though I would have accepted trapped on a desert island with no chance of rescue as a humane alternative.

…but feel “safe” saying it here:
“Ladybugs” was filmed in Colorado and we all found out that, unlike, say, Don Rickles, R.D. was a nasty piece of work.
I won’t say “good riddance,” but I’m not grieving either.

A prime example of an organism who is failing to evolve and adapt to the changing comedy environment. He was going to be weeded out sooner or later.
