It was awesome. It was a different movie than what I expected. Darker, emotionally exhausting. But still well written and witty. Well worth the wait.

So how would it be for people who only caught one or two episodes of the show (and before I get yelled at for that, I would gladly watch every episode but they don’t have hem over here).
That is the $1M question.
It would, at least, be a different experience. Glenn says reviewers who had never seen Firefly have given it good reviews, so I guess it stands alone well.
But I think for a full-on experience, you should beg, borrow or steal the DVD set.
I saw it with Amy, who hadn’t seen any of the show, and she really liked it. She missed a few things, but nothing that interfered with her understanding what was going on.
