There are people on my friends list that have known me a pretty good
amount of time.
But now, everyone please welcome someone from the High School Years,
Welcome, Mare!

I met my friend (and best man at my wedding) in… probably the fall of 1984.
1984…
Hmmm… tough to beat.
I have a few possibilities to improve on that. I could get my friend Sarah, who I recently discovered lives in Avondale Estates… she goes back to 1980 and was my junior year prom date.
Otherwise, I’m going to have to get my mom and dad on, and that just isn’t going to happen.
My sister’s friend from elementary school, Denise, whom I’ve known since 1982, found me on myspace. So tag….
I spit on your myspace. p’tooie.
I should note that I’m not proud to have a myspace account…
OK count me in
Well I was finally urged to actually sign up for an acct instead of having to post anonymously. You had graduated by this time, but did you know I also was a Friendly’s waitress (my 1st job ever)?? I can still make a mean Reese’s Sundae.

Our careers at Friendly’s, could compare to doing time in the military. The few, the proud, the polyester. *
* – not that I seriously think that…but, wearing polyester uniform dresses with pantyhose in the summer is not a picnic in the park…
Re: OK count me in
I did not know that, but color me jealous.
Of course, I may be viewing the whole Friendly’s experience through rose-colored customer’s glasses.
Re: OK count me in
Having an account also makes you privey to all the *secret* posts that are kept from the public eye. Secret, secret stuff… like… um… well…
Anyway, glad to have you.
i could have known you longer than anyone…..i just lived half a mile too far north.
weird.
Ain’t life somethin’?
Thanks Ryan! My talent as a “fountain” worker was ten times better, than my accomplishments in drama, as far as acting. Luckily, I was surrounded by those more talented, like yourself and a few others.
I like to think, I was really great at the comic relief/mini-therapy sessions, behind the scenes. Oh…the drama of drama club.
Thanks to you, Steve and the rest of the gang, I found out later, (“Slow Children at Play”) that my real gift is improv.
Improv can get you through life. My resume is proof of that statement. (insert laugh here)
You do yourself a disservice, methinks. We were all wonders of the stage then, though looking back now, I’m sure we would cringe at the sight.
I still have Slow Children at Play on my improv resume.
Not Fairfield Connecticut though, right? Or I would have known you both.
I can’t believe you forgot us. All those times we had.
No, Fairfield, Ohio. Close, but then again, not at all similar, I’m sure.
