Yesteryear by Caro Claire Burke [eBook – Bookshop.org/Little Shop of Stories]

Extremely well written, well done non-linear story telling.

A social media tradwife influencer whose real life is not as trad as she would have her viewers think, wakes up to find herself in a version of her house and farm stripped of the hidden modern conveniences, with her-husband-who-is-not-her-husband, her-children-who-are-not-her-same-children, and no idea how she got there or what’s going on.

The story elegantly jumps back and forth between what she remembers of her “real” life and this altered reality, with slow reveals in each thread.

Great page turner, 5 stars.
