Hey Atlanta people…
Where’s the best place tp buy an economical, sturdy, comfortable couch that can withstand a raving toddler?
Leather need not apply.

If you can wait the extra 4 weeks it will take for it to get here, my advice is to go to a few furniture stores, find something you like, flip the tag over, and call Susan at Rose Furniture in High Point, and order it over the phone. You’ll get more couch for the money, plus since it’s coming from out of state, you won’t pay taxes (though you will pay something like $150-175 for delivery).
Otherwise, Rich’s is as good a place as any. There’s also the Storehouse Outlet, up on Irby, near Souper Jenny.
I’d avoid Rooms to Go like the plague.
After posting this, I knew I should have submitted it to Susan, Answer Girl.
We have all the time in the world, so we shall check out this “Susan” person.
Lemme know if you want me to tell you the drill or give you her number.
The best thing is you might get to wear your Super Sneaky Shoes.
I certainly will. We’re going to hit the furniture stores as soon as possible.
Good idea. Those sales folk won’t know what hit ’em!
What’s wrong with leather?
I just don’t like sitting on it. I prefer a cloth of some sort.
